Winners of 5th Divyaang Dheyapurti Rashtriya Puraskaar; Honored for their fighting spirit against all odds in life

Mumbai, November 26, 2019: The 16 Awards of Divyaang Dheyepurti Rashtriya Puraskar 2019 were presented to 9 Individuals and 7 to the entities at 5th year award event organized at Vile Parle by Nutan Gulgule Foundation (NGF).

Founder Trustee - Ms Nutan Gulgule informed “This year NGF had received 120 nominations from Divyaangs spread across different states with several disabilities, cultures and languages. Out of 120 nominations 16 were selected for presenting the Special Achievement Award for their outstanding work his/her profession or life in spite of being disabled.

Out of total 16 Award Categories 9 are for Individuals whereas rest 7 are as follows: Institutes – 2, Mother-Child – 2, Family - 1, Post-Human – 1 and Life Time Achievement – 1.

The dignitaries who graced the occasion and presented the awards include Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey (As Chief Guest) - Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India, Mr Sunil Deodhar – National Secretary, BJP, Dr K. Sukumar – National Organising Secretary – Saksham, Mr Satish Marathe – Director Central Board, RBI, Mr Vijay Prakash – GM of NSIC, Dr Alka Mandke – Cardiac Anesthetist at KDAH as Guests of Honor.
