Panchkula, August 23, 2018: WelcomHotel Bella Vista's, Serenade Pavilion has come alive with 'Kebabs & Kurries Food Festival' from August 24th till September 2nd, 2018. Details of this one-of-a-kind food fiesta were shared with media by Master Chef Yashpal from WelcomHotel Dwarka, New Delhi & Mr. Vivek Khanna, GM, WelcomHotel Bellavista. Chef Yashpal recreated a moment of ‘Royal Cooking’ from a bygone era, using traditional cooking style & prepared lip-smacking dishes of Kebabs & Kurries. The sumptuous fare at 'Kebabs & Kurries' comprises a mouth-watering array of Kebabs and a wide range of dishes from all over India. These preparations can be categorised as Quormas, Qaliyas or Salans- which are the different type of Curries. "The menu at the Fest has been carefully curated to comprise of innumerable dishes which originated throughout Central Asia and ultimately found a home in India. We have researched the rich Indian Royal legacy of food & have used long forgotten herbs and exotic flavours to pamper the palate. The flavourful curries and delicious Kebabs are cooked in traditional style. "The dishes will make their way forth from different kitchens which will work in tandem to prepare a feast of Melt-in-the-mouth Kebabs, Curries, Biryanis and Desserts. Vegetarian Kebabs like Dum Ke Bhoole, Sabut Tandoori Aloo, Nimona Tikkiya (Green peas kebabs) are available. In the Non Veg segment Dum Ki Raan, Murgh Angar, Machhli Tikka are sumptuous. The main course is quite a draw both in Veg & Non-veg. In vegetarian Paneer Sirohi, Dal Makhana Korma, Subzazar Kofte, Dal Bukhara are available. Tarkari Pulao is tasteful. In Non-Veg main course there are Murgh Handi Korma, Burrhani Gosht, Mahi Qaliya (Rohu fish based dish) and as well Kashmiri Gosht Biryani cooked in Dum style is commendable and Authentic desserts like Zouk-e- shahi & Gulab ki kheer should not be missed. The Festival offers a wide variety in its Weekend Buffet which is also part of the food fiesta. Here in Veg Starters Sabut Tandoori Aloo, Hara Kebab Awadhi, Pudina Paneer Tikka, Bhooni Tarkari are there among others. In Non-Veg starters like Murgh Malai Kebab, Murgh Shami, Tala Gosht, Seekh Kebab are enticing. Shorbas(soups) like Khumb Ka Shorba, Tamatar Ka Shorba & Badam Ka Shorba are options. The Weekend Buffet's veg main course has dishes like Meher Paneer, Subz Paneer, Kehkashan, Lasooni Palak, Subz Nizami, Dahi Bharta, Mushroom Butter Masala, Mirch Baingan Ka Salan et al.
