Webinar on theme of socio-cultural changes during covid-19

Jalandhar: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar saw a one-day National level webinar organised by the Postgraduate Department of Punjabi on the theme of 'Socio Cultural Changes during Covid-19'. 
Dr. Baljinder Nasrali from Delhi University was the chief orator on this occasion. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra formally welcomed Dr Nasrali along with Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, Head PG Department of Punjabi and Dr. Harjinder Singh Sekhon, Convener of the webinar. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra presented his views on the rapidly changing lifestyle and social introductions caused mainly by the threat of Covid-19. 
Dr Samra also urged the society to adapt themselves as per the ongoing time of pandemic much for the safety of everyone concerned. In his speech, Dr Baljinder Nasrali discussed the variety of changes and alterations observed in the society during the last 2 months. He also duly highlighted the changes occurring in human relationships and mannerisms owing mainly to the new world order enforced by the theatre of coronavirus. His lecture was followed by a very knowledgeable question answer session where in the staff members and research scholars in the audience put forth their queries on the theme of the webinar.
Vote of thanks on this occasion was delivered by Dr Gopal Singh Buttar, Head, PG Department of Punjabi while the stage was managed by Dr Harjinder Singh Sekhon, Convenor of the program. The webinar saw active participation of around 100 delegates from various parts of the region along with faculty members and students of the college.
