Webinar on encouraging women entrepreneurship-MSME schemes and impact stories

Ludhiana: With a view to encourage women entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region, CICU in association with GIZ conducted an awareness programme for WEF of CICU.

The Webinar was started with the welcome speech by Mrs. Dicky Chhabra, Entrepreneur, M/s Lucky Exports.

Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Technical Expert, GIZ talked about working of GIZ for upgrading the industry and also said that CICU-GIZ established a cell called Innovation Facilitation Cell to help the industry.

The programme focused on Ministry of MSME schemes for Women Entrepreneurs. Atal Incubation Centre of Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan also presented their work in promoting WEs and shared some unique success stories. GIZ representative also apprised participants about CTR' incubation and entrepreneurship development cell (CIED) which is being supported under MSME INNO programme.

Mr. Mukesh Verma, Assistant Director, MSME-DI, Ludhiana elaborate the schemes of Ministry of MSME.

The special Address presented by Ms. Archana Sarup, Entrepreneur, M/s Marshall Machines.

Mr. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU encouraged participants to apply with start up ideas under the Atmanirbhar India Innovation Challenge.

The vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Vimmi Bajaj, CEO, Bajaj Sons Ltd.

Women entrepreneurs of the forum, appreciated the work being done by CICU in the industrial ecosystem.
