Water cooler and wash basin inaugurated at district courts complex

Ludhiana: To help the people visiting District Courts Complex Ludhiana to stay safe from COVID 19 by washing their hands, two wash basins have been installed near the entry gates of District Courts Complex, here, by the District Legal Services Authority. These wash basins were inaugurated by District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman DLSA Ludhiana Mr Gurbir Singh.
He informed that these wash basins have been developed with ultra modern technique and public can operate them with their feet and they would not have to touch the tap or handle. He said that this technique would help in checking the spread of COVID 19 from one person to other. Besides, the litigants visiting District Courts Complex and the staff would be able to keep themselves safe from COVID 19. He said that it has been made compulsory for every person entering the courts complex to wash their hands properly.
On this occasion, the DLSA has also got a water cooler with capacity of 500-litre installed in the courts premises. This water cooler was also inaugurated by Mr Gurbir Singh. He also urged the residents to stay indoors if they want to keep themselves as well as their families safe.
