New Delhi, June 17 (IANS) It was a warm Tuesday in Delhi, with the maximum temperature settling at 43.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy Wednesday.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy Wednesday and thunderstorms might occur in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 41 and 31 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Tuesday's minimum temperature was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 41.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above average while the minimum settled at 30.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above average.
