Ward no 19: Kamlesh Banarsi Das starts door to door campaign

Chandigarh, December 10: Congress candidate from ward no 19, Kamlesh Banarsi Das began her personal contact program with door to door canvassing on Friday.

During her campaign, residents of the area showed her the stinking heaps of garbage all around the ward. Many residents complained of a poor sewerage system leading to mixing of sewage with potable water. This could lead to an outbreak of diseases any time, residents complained.

Kamlesh assured residents to ensure neat and clean surroundings in the area if voted to power. She also assured them to repair broken sewerage pipes or replace them within six months. She also promised to improve the condition of roads, streets and street lighting in ward if elected.
