Ludhiana, December 8, 2019: In Solidarity with the Young 16-year-old Pakistani boy who was lodged in Hoshiarpur Jail despite the release order by court, the large number of like people assembled at Leisure Valley Sarabha Nagar on Sunday.

The large number of youngsters of Initiators of Change and other organisations and social activists joined the assembly and request the Government of India to release the 16 year old boy. The Youngsters formed human chain and also carried out peace march to Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh Nagar Model Town Extension from Sarabha Nagar. Gouravdeep Singh, founder of Initiators of Change informed that they came to know from the media reports that 16-year-old-boy Mubarshar Bilal from Pakistan who crossed the border unintentionally two years ago and later acquitted by Taran Taran Court. They request the Government of India to release the boy and help him to meet his family.

Naib Shahi Imam, Usmaan Ludhianvi said that as the court has acquitted the boy, the government should release him as peace gesture. The Government of Pakistan has also released native of Melerkotla, India who crossed border from India side accidentally. Now, the Government of India should release Bilal.

Social activist Lakha Sidhana said that this is not the issue of Sikh, Hindu and Muslim boy, this is the issue of humanity and he demand the Government to release Bilal.
