Ludhiana, November 30, 2017: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ropar organized a vocational training on modern techniques of stitching under the guidance of Dr.Vipan Kumar Rampal, Deputy Director (Training). Dr.Rampal motivated farm women to develop strong linkage with KVK experts for such types of skill development trainings. Approximately 32 farm women and girls were participated in this training. Dr.Mandeep Sharma, Assistant Professor (Home Science) said now a day’s most of the farm women knows basic techniques of stitching, we tried to demonstrate them some modern techniques of making kurta pajama, plazo, pent style plazo etc. as these are in fashion. This training will be very beneficial for the farm women to start their own boutiques and to boost their family income.
