Vivek High School to organise 7th edition of the Model United Nations Conference 

Chandigarh, November 8, 2022: With an aim to discuss the prevailing global issues and provide delegates a forum to develop viable strategies amicably and in unison, the Vivek High School(VHS) is all set to return with the 7th edition of its Model United Nations Conference (VHS MUN 2022) to be held in the school's Sec 38 campus from 10th to 13th November 2022.
 
Established in 2010, to discuss solutions to resolve issues for a brighter future, this year’s theme of the conference is, “Forging the present, contemplating the future”. This year’s edition will feature thrilling simulations in a variety of committees  which will offer an apt platform to the delegates to explore & foster their true potential as leaders of tomorrow.

The delegates will share their views on critical global issues such as the Agneepath scheme, data protection act, Russian invasion of Ukraine, Protection of LGBTQI+ Refugees etc. in both conventional and unconventional UN committee simulations. VHS MUN 2022 will be an inclusive and exciting event, featuring 250+ delegates from all over the country with 15+ schools in attendance from all across india.

Renu Puri, the Principal, said, “Inner peace lets one swiftly direct their consciousness for the better course of future. For ages to come, humanity will be responsible for no one but themselves since they solely drive the present. VHSMUN offers the students a platform to recognize issues and discuss solutions for the benefit of humanity.”

In addition to the engrossing sessions, renowned bureaucrat  IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal - known  for her work against different mafias, especially the Mohali Land Scam, will also grace the occasion to boost the morale of the young students on November 13.
