VIT-AP University Hosts VTAPP 2026 – A tech fest with 92 Innovation-Focused Events

Amaravati, September 11, 2026: VIT-AP University, Amaravati, is hosting VTAPP 2026, a two-day technology festival being held on September 11 and 12, 2026, bringing together students, innovators and technology enthusiasts from across India to celebrate innovation, creativity and engineering excellence.
The inaugural session of VTAPP 2026 was held today at the VIT-AP campus and commenced with a spectacular drone show, which captivated the participants and set an energetic tone for the two-day technology extravaganza. The impressive aerial display drew the attention of students and guests, creating an exciting beginning to the festival.
The event is being conducted under the theme “QuantumPulse – VTAPP”, providing students an opportunity to transform their ideas into practical solutions while competing, collaborating and learning from their peers.
The techfest features 92 diverse events encompassing innovation, creativity, exhibitions, demonstrations and a wide range of engineering and technology-based activities. The festival has received an overwhelming response, with around 7,000 entries from VIT and universities across India, reflecting the growing interest among students in emerging technologies, problem-solving and innovation.
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Krishna Dasari, CEO and Founder, Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd., Mangalagiri, emphasised the importance of having a clear purpose behind innovation. He said that a strong sense of purpose enables students to focus their efforts on solving real-world problems. By identifying a problem and working towards a solution, students can understand the challenges involved and recognise the further requirements needed to improve their ideas. He described VTAPP as an important platform where students can understand the purpose of technology and focus on transforming innovative ideas into reality.
Dr. E. R. Raj Kumar, Vice President, Accenture, Bengaluru, and Guest of Honour, encouraged students to understand their strengths and weaknesses and continuously work towards overcoming their limitations. He said that VIT provides a strong platform and adequate support for nurturing innovations and ideas. He noted that technology festivals such as VTAPP give students an opportunity to identify and showcase their talents while gaining exposure through interaction, competition and experimentation.
Dr.P. Arulmozhivarman Vice-Chancellor, speaking about the festival, said that the scale and diversity of VTAPP 2026 reflected the enthusiasm of students towards innovation and technology. With 92 events and nearly 7,000 entries from VIT and universities across India, the festival has emerged as a vibrant platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, engineering skills and innovative thinking.
