VIT-AP University Hosts Industry Conclave 2026 on Advancing Quantum, AI & ML Technologies, Green Energy and Pharma Innovations.

Amaravati, September 18, 2026: The School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) at VIT-AP University today successfully inaugurated its two-day Industry Conclave 2026 during 18-19th September bringing together eminent industry leaders, experts, academicians and researchers to strengthen academia–industry collaborations to bridge the gap between academic innovations and emerging industry needs. The conclave focuses on critical and future-oriented sectors, including Quantum AI & ML Technologies, Green Energy, Advanced Materials, and Pharmaceutical Innovations, highlighting the role of interdisciplinary research, technological innovations, and industry partnerships in addressing emerging societal and industrial challenges. The ceremony at the Sri Tanguturi Prakasam Auditorium began with a welcome address by Dean of SAS, Prof. S Srinivas along with formal note of progress of the School of Advanced Sciences. Dr. Illa Ramakanth, Convener highlighted the purpose and importance of the conclave with list of participating industries. This was immediately followed by an address from the Registrar of VIT-AP University, who briefed the gathering on the institution's rapid growth, reflecting on its humble beginning since 2017.
The inaugural session key focus on the emerging role of Andhra Pradesh in advanced sciences and frontier technologies by Guest of Honour Dr. Venkata Subramaniam L, CEO, Qbit Force Quantum Pvt. Ltd highlighted the advanced quantum computing facilities now available in Amaravati. He called upon students, faculty members, researchers, and interested citizens to make effective use of these facilities and actively contribute to the vison objectives of the State and National Quantum Mission. Expanding on the technological roadmap for the Amaravati capital region, Guest of Honour Sri. Sridhar C V, Mission Director, Amaravati Quantum Valley, highlighted the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s strategic vision for “Swarna Andhra Pradesh” and “Viksit Bharat 2047”.  He outlined the five foundational pillars of the Amaravati Quantum Valley Mission and emphasised their role in shaping Andhra Pradesh as a hub for next-generation technologies. Reinforcing VIT-AP University’s alignment with these regional and national priorities, Vice Chancellor Dr. Arulmozhivarman P apprised the gathering of the university’s ongoing initiatives and commitments. He highlighted VIT-AP’s efforts across emerging domains, including advanced pharmaceutical sciences and quantum engineering, aimed at contributing to the ambitious technological and developmental goals of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Government of India.
The keynote address was delivered by Chief Guest Dr. Rambabu Paravastu, Advisor and Chief Sustainability Officer, Greenko Group. He provided a global perspective on the ongoing transformation of the energy and economic landscape, describing the transition from a “petro economy” to an “electro economy.” He highlighted India’s accelerating progress towards energy self-reliance through the expansion of green energy and underscored the growing convergence of sustainability with sectors such as pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies. The inaugural session concluded with the felicitation of the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour by the Vice Chancellor in recognition of their valuable insights and contributions. The formal proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Venkata Rajanikanth M, Dean Academic Research, marking the commencement of the conclave’s industry–academia interactions and thematic sessions.
