Maintenance Department of DMCH, Ludhiana arranges a langar on Tuesday to celebrate Vishawkarma Day.
Ludhiana, November 5, 2013: Maintenance Department of DMCH, Ludhiana arranged a langar today to celebrate Vishawkarma Day, which commenced yesterday morning with ‘havan’
During the celebrations, workers from different technical departments offered prayers to Lord Vishwakarma, for maintaining safe working conditions in the institution and to ensure smooth functioning of machine parts and their tools.
Secretary of DMCH Managing Society- Prem Kumar Gupta started serving the langar to the employees. In his message, Gupta said that this kind of events help the people to come closer to each other and get united. He appealed to the employees to follow the path shown by Lord Vishwakarma.
Chief Engineer RK Goyal thanked all the employees who participated on the occasion. Those who were present included Principal Dr Daljit Singh, Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina and Medical Superintendent Dr Sandeep Puri.
