VISHAL BHARDWAJ ON OTT VERSUS FILMS
About the difference between OTT and films, Vishal Bhardwaj said, "They are two different mediums. They are giving you the opportunity to tell stories. Stories are divided now. Stories like 'Haider' or 'Omkara', people want to watch on the big screen for spectacle value. Our viewing habits have changed, especially after the pandemic."

The problem with theatres is that they charge you so much money. The popcorn is expensive. It's costly to watch a film in a theatre. So it should offer you something that you can't watch on your TV screen or laptop. It has to offer you something extra.

He also said, "Shah Rukh Khan is my hero in 'Jawan'."

ALI FAZAL: DIRECTORS TOLD ME NOT TO DO 'MIRZAPUR'
Speaking about his web series Mirzapur, Ali Fazal said he received immense recognition from the Prime Video show, and admitted that the OTT space is a disruption of an existing order.

"At the time when I was offered, there weren't many shows happening. But I have had the fortune of doing my work on the other side of the world. Mujhe waha dikh gaya tha. I saw it coming. I saw the model working. I know a lot of known directors who asked me not to be a part of this (Mirzapur). Ki yeh kya kar rahe ho? Ye to aayega 5-6 saal mein," said the actor.

Khufiya is a spy thriller film written, produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film is based on Amar Bhushan's espionage novel 'Escape to Nowhere'. It stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
