Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi continues to strike an emotional chord with viewers through its heartfelt portrayal of family dynamics. The show follows Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), a young girl who has devoted her life to holding her family together through endless trials, from her father Suhas’ (Varun Badola) struggles with addiction to her own complicated relationship with Virat (Rajat Verma) and Sanjay (Rishi Saxena).
Viewers will see Anvita saving her father, Suhas (Varun Badola), just in time from a horrifying kidney racket, proving herself to be the true hero of the night. Now, despite the heartbreak that followed when she discovered Virat’s hidden identity, he has stood by her throughout her father’s illness, when she needed it most. As Suhas recovers, fate seems to be pulling Anvita and Virat back together. Determined to prove his love and win Anvita back, Virat seeks her sibling’s permission and plans a heartfelt proposal, but as he gathers the courage to express his feelings, the question remains: will Anvita accept his proposal, or does destiny have other plans for them?
Sumbul Touqeer Khan, who plays Anvita, shared, “These past few episodes have been incredibly intense to shoot because they capture the emotional storm any daughter would feel when her father’s life is at stake. As a daughter myself, I could deeply relate to that mix of fear, helplessness, and the strength that comes from love. At the same time, Anvita’s relationship with Virat is at a very delicate point. Their bond has been tested by secrets and misunderstandings, yet in her most vulnerable moments, Virat has stood by her selflessly. That’s what makes their connection so special, it’s not perfect, but it’s real. I can’t wait for the viewers to witness a different side of Anvita, not just as a daughter, but as a woman carving her own path in love and life.”
