Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2021-22: Punjab boys b Uttrakhand by 25 runs in Elite –D group league match

Chandigarh/Mohali, October 2, 2021: Punjab State Men’s Under 19 Years Team today had played their fourth round of league match for Vinoo Mankad 2021-22 against Uttrakhand Cricket Association U-19 at ECIL Ground, Hyderabad.
Uttrakhand won the toss and elected to field first.  Batting first Punjab CA U-19 bundled out 191 in 47.4 overs. Uday Saharan scored 53 runs off 92 balls with three boundaries and one six and Rushil Shrivastava scored 35 runs off 48 balls  with four boundaries were the highest run-getters for Punjab. Shashwat Dangwal took 5 wickets  for 46 runs and Satyam Baaliyan took  3 wickets for 25 runs , both were the most successful wicket-takers for Uttrakhand.
Replying Uttrakhand team was bundled out for 166 in 44.4 overs. Aarav Mahajan scored 32 runs off 62 balls with three boundaries, Arush unbeaten 32 runs off  31 balls with two sixes and Vidit Joshi 30 runs off 67 balls with three boundaries were the main run-getters for Uttrakhand CA. For Punjab Harshdeep took 3 wickets for 44 runs , Uday Saharan claimed 3 wickets giving away 30 runs and Yashpaawanjot took 2 wickets giving away 28 runs
Punjab won the match by 25 runs and claimed 4 points.
