Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2021-22: Punjab boys b Kerala in ELITE –D group league match 

Chandigarh/Mohali, October 3, 2021: Punjab Men’s Under 19 Years Team today played their fourth round of league match in the ongoing  Vinoo Mankad 2021-22 trophy against Kerala Cricket Association U-19 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad in which Punjab won the match by 9 wickets.
Kerala won the toss today and elected to bat first.  Batting first Kerala team were bundled out for 120 runs in 42.5 overs.Rohan Nair scored 25 runs off 58 balls and Omar Abubacker made 25 runs off 29 balls with two boundaries , both were the main run getters for Kerala team. Harshdeep Singh took 5 wickets giving away 24 runs and Yashpaawanjot Singh took 3 wickets for 17 runs and were the most successful wicket takers for Punjab.
Replying Punjab completed the target of 121 in just 34.1 overs while losing only 1 wicket. Jaskaranvir Singh Paul unbeaten 54 runs off 94 balls with six boundaries and Rushil Shrivastava scored 40 runs off 63 balls  five boundaries and one six were the highest run getters for Punjab Team. Vijay S Viswanath took 1wicket  for 38 runs for Kerala.
Punjab won the match by 9 wickets and claimed the 4 points .
