Vinod Kumar Agarwal Elected Vice President of FTCCI

Hyderabad, August 6, 2026: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), one of India’s oldest and most respected industry associations, has unanimously elected Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of Mahalakshmi Profiles Pvt. Ltd. (MPL Group), as its Vice President for the year 2026–27.
The election took place at the Second Managing Committee Meeting of FTCCI held at FTCCI in Red Hills. 
A distinguished industrialist with over 35 years of leadership experience, Vinod Kumar Agarwal has been closely associated with FTCCI for several years. He has served as a Managing Committee Member and has successfully chaired various committees of the Federation, making significant contributions to policy advocacy, industrial development, sustainable growth, and strengthening industry-government collaboration.
Expressing his gratitude after the election, Vinod Kumar Agarwal said “I am deeply honoured by the trust reposed in me by the members of FTCCI. The Federation has been a catalyst for industrial and economic growth for over a century. As Managing Director of Mahalakshmi Profiles Pvt. Ltd., the flagship company of the MPL Group, Vinod Kumar Agarwal has led the Group’s diversification across steel, power, logistics, cement, and investment & leasing. Under his leadership, the Group has emerged as one of Telangana’s leading industrial enterprises, generating employment, investing in infrastructure, and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices.
Established in 1913, the MPL Group is among Telangana’s oldest business houses and has consistently contributed to the state’s industrial growth, employment generation, and economic development.
Vinod Kumar Agarwal has also held key leadership positions in industry bodies, including serving as Chairman of the FTCCI Energy Committee, General Secretary of the Telangana Iron & Steel Manufacturers Association (TISMA), and has been actively associated with organisations such as CII and other trade and community bodies.
