Vikram Solar commissions 80 MW solar project in Gujarat

Vikram Solar, the country’s leading module manufacturer and solar EPC player commissioned a 2X40 MW (80 MW) Solar PV Power Plant for Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (abbreviated GIPCL), Gujarat. The project has been developed under the Jawaharal Nehru National Solar Mission Phase II Batch IV Tranche-I Scheme with grid at Gujarat Solar Park, in Charanka. Vikram Solar will further provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) service to the plant for a period of 10 years from the date of commissioning.

Despite quite a few hurdles like floods and adverse weather conditions, we have been able to execute the project plan with success. Spread across 385 acres of land, the 80 MW plant has 2,50,429 modules and will have a power generation capacity of 1886000 million units.
