Vigilance Awareness Week to be observed at RCF Kapurthala from Oct 27 to Nov 2
In line with the nation-wide initiatives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala will observe Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2nd November on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”.

Kapurthala, October 26, 2025: In line with the nation-wide initiatives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala will observe Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2nd November on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”.
The observance aims to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public life. During the week, various programmes will be organized to spread awareness among employees, students, and the public about the importance of ethical conduct and good governance.
The inaugural ceremony will be held on 27th October, where the Integrity Pledge will be administered to all officers and staff by General Manager, RCF. A series of activities including seminars, competitions, workshops, and outreach programmes will be conducted throughout the week.
Special awareness campaigns will also be organized in nearby educational institutions to sensitize youth about vigilance and ethics in daily life.
Vigilance Awareness Week is one of the Participative Vigilance initiatives of the Central Vigilance Commission in the fight against corruption. It is observed to create greater sensitivity about the need for ethics and transparency in governance and public administration. In this context , a three month campaign started in August 2025, wherein special programmes were conducted for RCF Officers and Employees.
As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, motivational outreach banners and posters have been displayed at various locations across RCF to promote integrity and transparency among employees. The Vigilance Department, led by its Chief Vigilance Officer Vinod Pal is wholeheartedly engaged in ensuring the successful conduct of the event through a series of awareness and outreach activities.
