Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 commences in RCF Kapurthala
Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 is being celebrated in Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala from 27th October to 2nd November. Various preventive vigilance activities are being organised by RCF Vigilance Department in the key focus areas identified by Central Vigilance Commission during the entire campaign period running from 18th August to 17th November.

Kapurthala, October 27, 2025: Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 is being celebrated in Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala from 27th October to 2nd November. Various preventive vigilance activities are being organised by RCF Vigilance Department in the key focus areas identified by Central Vigilance Commission during the entire campaign period running from 18th August to 17th November.
In this connection, an Integrity pledge ceremony was held on October 27 in RCF in which Ravi Kumar PCME/RCF, Vinod Pal, CVO along with other senior officers of RCF were present. The ceremony started with lighting of lamp by Senior RCF Officers. Ravi Kumar PCME also released the 26th issue of Vigilance Bulletin published by Vigilance Department of RCF.
On this occasion, Naveen Chahal, Dy CVO made a presentation on various aspects of preventive vigilance and initiatives taken up by Vigilance Department of RCF in this respect. The speakers in the program called upon all the officers, supervisors and staff of RCF to help Railways in weeding out corruption through integrity, honesty and transparency in their day-to- day working.
Integrity Pledge was also administered to staff at their workplaces. To mark the occasion of “Vigilance Awareness Week”, banners and posters are displayed in the campus to sensitize people on corruption.
RCF vigilance has taken up various initiatives on the key focus areas identified by Central Vigilance Commission in the form of conducting seminars, Declamation Contest and other competitions , Nukkad Natak , Rally on Vigilance Awareness on the theme of preventive vigilance, encouraging the staff and officers of RCF to complete the identified preventive vigilance training courses on iGOT Platform.
Vigilance Awareness Week is celebrated on the occasion of birthday of the esteemed Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known for his unwavering patriotism and integrity.
