Vice Chancellor PAU acknowledges pictorial work - Sunrise Of Punjab - 2023 “ਸੂਰਜੁ ਏਕੋ ਰੁਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ”

Ludhiana, January 11, 2023: Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice Chancellor PAU, today acknowledged the  Pictorial visuals depicting Sunrise of Punjab - “All seasons originate from the one Sun - ਸੂਰਜੁ ਏਕੋ ਰੁਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ” during the short event reg Presentation of  Pictorial Sunrise of Punjab theme compiled in form of Calendar 2023 having photographic depiction of beautiful Natural Sunrise from the scenic locations of Punjab Agricultural University Campus, prepared by Punjab’s eminent Author, Environmentalist and Nature Artist, Advocate Harpreet Sandhu under the guidance of Padma Shri Dr. Surjit Patar. This unique Calendar 2023 portrays five photographs from Punjab Agricultural University i.e. Wheat Fields, Forest area, Paddy fields, Bougainvillea Garden and Fruit orchard.   

VC PAU Dr. Gosal appreciated the visionary efforts of Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu for compiling this meaningful depiction highlighting the significance of Sunrise with befitting message for humanity that Sun is the essence of life on Mother Earth, as all the seconds, minutes, hours, days, week day’s months and seasons originate from one Sun which symbolizes a new dawn, a new ray of hope, warmth and a bright new day to start a new page of life every day and stated that the scenic beauty of Sunrise visuals captured by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu will motivate the Officers, faculty and students of PAU to rededicate themselves for preservation of nature as well as promote the beautiful Sunrise natural location of Punjab Tourism.  The edition of pictorial Calendar’s were handed over to the faculty members of the University.  Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu made special reference for the sincere contribution for this pictorial project depicting the Sunrise of Punjab to Sanjeev Arora Member Parliament Rajya Sabha and Rajinder Gupta , Chairman Trident Group.
