Vibrant Showcase of Art, Music, and Intellect at Ramgarhia Girls College
Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana, came alive with youthful enthusiasm and creativity as it hosted an Inter-School Competition featuring a vibrant blend of art, intellect, and cultural expression.
Ludhiana, October 25, 2025: Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana, came alive with youthful enthusiasm and creativity as it hosted an Inter-School Competition featuring a vibrant blend of art, intellect, and cultural expression.
The event was graced by Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council; Gurcharan Singh Lotey, Secretary, REC; Avtar Singh Bhogal; Gurmeet Singh Kular; and other esteemed committee members. The distinguished guests of the day were Dr. B.S. Shah and Dr. Satish Sharma. Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur extended a floral welcome to all dignitaries. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a soulful Shabad Gayan, setting an auspicious tone for the day.
Students from various schools showcased their talent and creativity in a wide array of competitions, including Mehndi Designing, Nail Art, Decorative Garland Making, Gutta Gundna, Cooking Without Fire, Commerce Quiz, Folk Song, Solo Singing, Solo Dance, Extempore, Case-Based Group Discussion, Creative Writing, Poetry Recitation, Poster Making, Rangoli, PPT Presentation, and Beautiful Handwriting.
Principals and faculty members from various institutions under the Ramgarhia Educational Council, as well as other city schools, appreciated the commendable efforts of the organizers and participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjodh Singh lauded the enthusiasm and creativity of the young participants, saying, “It is indeed our privilege to witness school students perform with such passion and skill. Competitions like these not only nurture creativity but also build confidence at an early stage.”
Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participating schools, noting, “The success of today’s event reflects the cooperation and active participation of everyone involved. Co-curricular activities are vital for the holistic development of students alongside academic excellence.”
Prizes were awarded to the winners securing the first, second, and third positions in various competitions. Ramgarhia Girls Senior Secondary School won the Overall Trophy for its outstanding performance across multiple categories. As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to the principals and management members of the participating schools.
During the meeting of the Ramgarhia Educational Council, it was also announced that a Nagar Kirtan will be organized on November 4, 2025, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which will be celebrated with deep devotion and reverence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Gurcharan Singh Lotey, Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to all dignitaries, staff, and participants for making the event a grand success.
