Veterinary teams start door-to-door to support livestock farmers

The teams are conducting house-to-house inspections, providing necessary medical care, and supplying medicines and injections to keep the cattle healthy.

Ludhiana, September 6, 2025: Under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain, veterinary teams have started a comprehensive door-to-door campaign in Sasrali Colony and neighboring villages along the Sutlej River to ensure the health and well-being of livestock. The teams are conducting house-to-house inspections, providing necessary medical care, and supplying medicines and injections to keep the cattle healthy.

Deputy Commissioner Jain emphasized the Punjab government's unwavering commitment to supporting farmers and livestock owners. 

"The Punjab government stands rock solid with the people, especially our farmers. The administration is ensuring that livestock farmers face no challenges by deploying veterinary teams equipped with essential medicines," he stated. He further assured that the situation in Sasrali Colony remains under control, with proactive measures in place to safeguard the livestock.
