Vet Varsity students bring laurels at National conclave at Nagpur
The Bachelor of Veterinary Science students of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana students got laurels at National conclave at Nagpur. Students engagement conclave cum training entitled “Nurturing Agripreneurship: Scope and opportunities for Economic development” sponsored by NAHEP-ICAR-CAAST, a world bank project held at Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur . The objective of this conclave was to stimulate students about agriculture and allied science entrepreneurships.

Ludhiana, November 14, 2023: The Bachelor of Veterinary Science students of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana students got laurels at National conclave at Nagpur. Students engagement conclave cum training entitled “Nurturing Agripreneurship: Scope and opportunities for Economic development” sponsored by NAHEP-ICAR-CAAST, a world bank project held at Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur . The objective of this conclave was to stimulate students about agriculture and allied science entrepreneurships.
During this conclave Jashn Girotra and Arun Kumar of final year B.V.SC. programme participated in a quiz on agripreneurship.
Samaridhi Arora and Avneet Jassal presented posters on the role of women in Agripreneurship in which Samaridhi Arora won second best poster award.
Snehal and Jashn shared their experiences on students' international training program during their visits to west indies and Brazil under Institutional development program sponsored by Indian council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi, which was highly applauded by the audience.
Drs M Honparkhe and Rajesh Wagh accompanied the students as co-ordinators. Dr Sarvpreet Singh Ghuman, Dean, College of Veterinary Science cum Principal investigator of the project congratulated the students and faculty for their achievements.
