Dharamshala, August 3, 2019: In Himachal Pradesh, rainfall occurred at many places during last 24 hours, but the Monsoon remained weak during last 24 hours.
Though heavy rainfall also recorded but at isolated places in the districts of Sirmaur and Solan only.
Highest rainfall in last 24 hours was recorded in Paonta Sahib, which experienced -97mm rain followed by Kasauli-76mm, Dharampur-45mm, Jogindernagar-18mm, Baijnath and Palampur-15 mm each, Sujanpur Tihra-11mm, Sangraha-9mm, Ghumarwin and Berthin-8mm each, Dharamshala and Bhunter-7 mm each, Bharari, Dehra Gopipur, Bharmaur, Renuka, Gaggal and Kahu-6mm each, Arki and Guler-5 mm each and Una, Manali and Gohar-4 mm each.
The meteorological department has forecasted rain with thunderstorm at isolated places for today and tomorrow in the state but on the same time has given warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the state on August 5 and 6.
Minimum temperature was normal and maximum was 3 to 4 degree Celsius below normal.
Today, the lowest temperature recorded at Keylong was 13.4 degree Celsius and yesterday’s highest temperature recorded at Chamba was 28.9 degree Celsius.
