VC Prof. Milap Punia Visits Vivekananda Library, Interacts with Students
Rohtak, April 15, 2026: MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia today visited the university's Vivekananda Library, where he engaged in a direct dialogue with students and encouraged them to dedicate themselves to their studies.
While interacting with the students, the Vice-Chancellor remarked that a library is not merely a repository of books, but a vital hub for acquiring knowledge and fostering personality development. He advised the students to visit the library regularly, cultivate the habit of reading, and remain steadfast in their pursuit of their goals. He emphasized that discipline and consistent study are the true keys to success.
During his visit, the Vice-Chancellor also viewed a book exhibition organized to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Applauding this initiative, the Vice-Chancellor stated that such exhibitions serve to connect students with great personalities and inspire them to strive for greater heights. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia urged the students to draw inspiration from the life of Dr. Ambedkar and make education their foremost priority. He asserted that education is the very instrument that empowers individuals and facilitates positive transformation within society.
Librarian Dr. Satish Malik briefed the Vice-Chancellor regarding the library's administrative arrangements, available resources, and modern facilities.
