Rohtak, May 13, 2026: A significant meeting of the Admission Committee, presided over by MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia, was held to discuss in detail how to make the admission process for the upcoming academic session (2026-27) smooth, transparent, and student-centric.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia said that the university's objective is to provide students with a superior academic environment alongside quality education. He issued directives ensuring that the admission process remains entirely transparent, time-bound, and technology-driven, thereby preventing students from facing any difficulties. He further instructed the concerned officials to simplify and enhance the efficiency of the online application, document verification, and counseling procedures.

The meeting also featured discussions regarding the availability of seats across various faculties and departments, admission regulations, the merit-based selection process, and the provisions implemented under the New Education Policy (NEP-2020).

The Vice-Chancellor affirmed that the university administration is committed to providing students with modern and employment-oriented education; to this end, the academic curricula are being updated to align with contemporary requirements. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia directed the concerned officials to ensure that all information pertinent to admissions is disseminated to students on a regular basis—via the university website and other communication channels—to preclude any complications during the application process. He further assured that a conducive and positive academic environment would be maintained within the university campus for the benefit of the students.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, Deans, and Principals of affiliated colleges, who offered their suggestions to make the admission process more effective and organized.
