VC Dr. H.K. Aggarwal inaugurates the UHS course on Bioethics
The third UHS course on Bioethics, including Ethics was organised for PG students at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences. Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal, along with Director Dr. S.K. Singhal and Dean Dr. Ashok Chauhan, inaugurated the course by lighting a lamp.

Rohtak, March 10, 2026: The third UHS course on Bioethics, including Ethics was organised for PG students at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences. Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal, along with Director Dr. S.K. Singhal and Dean Dr. Ashok Chauhan, inaugurated the course by lighting a lamp.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal said that we should always be compassionate towards patients, understanding their suffering. He said that we should first be good human beings and doctors later. He Encouraged doctors to always dress well and wear a stethoscope around their neck while on duty, saying that it is our shield. He said that approximately 8,000 people visit the OPD at this prestigious institution every day.
Director Dr. S.K. Singhal said that this course is not only a requirement of the NMC, but also a part of our profession. Through this we learn about ethics and we come to know how to behave with our seniors, juniors and patients. He said that this course teaches us that we should behave with utmost politeness with the patients. Dean Dr. Ashok Chauhan told the participants that you have to make your patients trust you.
Course coordinator Dr. Aarti conducted the stage. Dr. Savita, Dr. Jitendra Jakhar, Dr. Ritu Hooda, Dr. Kamal, Dr. Beena also gave lectures in the course. A large number of PG students were present during the course.
