Varun Mehta Appointed Senior Vice Chairman in Punjab Government

Ludhiana, June 10, 2026: To ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes launched by the Punjab government for all sections of society effectively reach the public, key leaders of the Sanatan Seva Samiti have been appointed to the Punjab Brahmin Welfare Board. These appointments include Varun Mehta (Ludhiana) as Senior Vice Chairman, and Joginder Sharma (Moga), Jeetpal Sharma (Bathinda), and Ashwani Sharma (Patiala) as members. Significant appointments to various other boards were also announced in the list released by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Varun Mehta expressed his gratitude for the appointment to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, State In-charge Manish Sisodia, State President Aman Arora, Cultural Affairs Advisor Deepak Bali, National Head of the Samiti Vijay Sharma, and Board Chairman Pankaj Sharda.
Mehta stated that he would work steadfastly for the welfare of the Sanatan and Brahmin communities across the state, adding that the Board is continuously working to resolve the challenges faced by the community.
