‘Operation Ganga’ to Showcase the Real Military Experience, Squadron Leader Varlin Panwar to Oversee Combat Sequences

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s much-awaited film ‘Operation Ganga’ continues to generate buzz with its powerful subject and grand scale. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vishnu Mohan, the film is set against the backdrop of India’s significant rescue mission during the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022.
To make the film more realistic and authentic, Squadron Leader Varlin Panwar has joined the team as a Military Advisor. She will lend her expertise to combat manoeuvres and military sequences, bringing a strong sense of realism to the film’s action and rescue operations. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, the film features Mohanlal alongside Arjun Rampal, Bhagyashri Borse, Adil Hussain, and Parthiban in pivotal roles.
The film also boasts an impressive technical team. Pushpa fame cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, production designer Rajeevan, and action director C. Young Oh are part of the project. Meanwhile, Shashwat Sachdev’s music, Shameer Mohammed’s editing, and Bishwadeep Chatterjee’s sound design are expected to further elevate the cinematic experience.
