Vardhman Special Steels come forward to run two skill development centres

Ludhiana, August 2, 2022: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Amit Kumar Panchal on Tuesday thanked the management of Vardhman Special Steels for its decision to support the district administration in running two skill development centres under its CSR campaign.
Panchal said that Vardhman Special Steels Limited has announced to contribute Rs 7.2 lakh for two skill development centers of stitching and sewing in Ludhiana. He said that the women from underprivileged and poor sections of the society learn stitching and sewing at these centers and are becoming economically independent.
A cheque of Rs 3.6 lakh as first installment was handed over to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Amit Kumar Panchal by Manuj Mehta and Amit Dhawan from Vardhman Special Steels Limited.
