Vaccine for youth without slot booking commendable step of CM: Nehariya
Says this decision of the Chief Minister will bring great relief to lakhs of youth of Himachal Pradesh
Dharamsala: In view of the difficulties being faced by the youth in the age group of 18 to 44 in booking the slots for vaccination in Himachal, the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has called off this process. Earlier, this age group has to get slot booking for their twice the week vaccination, whereas now they can get the vaccination throughout the week without booking. “This decision of the Chief Minister will bring great relief to lakhs of youth of the state. Himachal Pradesh government is setting new dimensions under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur”, said Vishal Nehariya, MLA of Dharamshala Assembly Constituency on Tuesday.
He said that the Congress leaders and other parties were criticizing the Covid-19 vaccine till now and spreading many kinds of misconceptions, but now with sufficient availability of the vaccine for the people in the age group of 18 to 44 years, all such leaders have to get a befitting reply.
Vishal Nehariya said that it is the result of far-sighting of the Himachal Chief Minister that today there has been a steady decline in the cases of corona infection in the state and the death rate has also come down in the state. He said that due to the policies of the Chief Minister, many districts have reached the verge of becoming corona free, because now there are only negligible cases of corona infection left in those districts.
Nehariya said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has given relaxation in restrictions keeping in mind the shopkeepers, businessmen, tourism industry and bus operators of the state.
