Vaccination of maximum number of people should be ensured as per procedure for prevention of corona: Praneet Kaur

S. A. S Nagar: The corona vaccine has the biggest role to play in preventing corona, which is to ensure that as many people as possible are vaccinated as per the prescribed procedure and at the same time ensure that those who take the first dose of the vaccine get the second dose. These views were expressed by Mrs. Preneet Kaur MP from Lok Sabha constituency Patiala during a meeting of the direction committee with Mr. Manish Tewari MP from Lok Sabha constituency Sri Anandpur Sahib at District Administrative Complex.

The Member of Parliament said that maximum efforts should be made to create awareness among the people about vaccination and also to ensure compliance with precautionary measures against corona. He said that any problem regarding the shortage of gynecologists in Dera Bassi area which falls under Lok Sabha constituency Patiala would be rectified soon.
Under all the schemes for the development of girls including Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, it was ensured that the sex ratio of the district would be further improved and at the same time maximum opportunities would be provided to the girls for advancement in life. The education of girls should be given utmost attention and their development should not be hampered in any way. The Member of Parliament directed the authorities to rectify all the problems faced by the people regarding Farad Kendras and Registries.

Meanwhile Mr. Manish Tewari MP from Lok Sabha constituency Sri Anandpur Sahib said that the benefits of all the government schemes should be extended to all the eligible beneficiaries and all the officers should go to the field to personally monitor the ongoing development works in the district. To maintain the quality of ongoing development works. All the pending development works should be completed as soon as possible.

The MP directed the authorities to ensure cleanliness in the district by implementing the segregation of garbage, door to door collection and composting and recycling process on a large scale. Wherever there are piles of garbage, they should be removed immediately.

The Member of Parliament directed the authorities to take special measures to provide maximum employment to the youth by imparting skills to them. He said that industrialists sometimes do not get skilled workers. Therefore, it is important to ensure that employment opportunities are provided to as many youth as possible through constant liaison with the industrial sector. He said that priority should be given to conducting courses in the professions which require workers.
The Member of Parliament said that the people who are provided loans for employment should be kept in constant touch with them to ensure that the beneficiaries can start their own employment and run it successfully. He also said that no pensioner should be allowed to face any problem regarding pension.

The MP asked the authorities to do as much as possible to reduce groundwater consumption and dependence on it. He said that he was constantly working to provide canal water supply to the district SAS Nagar so that the water related problems of the people could be alleviated.

On the occasion Mr. Tewari said that segregation of feeders was underway in the district which would improve the power supply and he assured that the farmers would not face any problem regarding power supply.

On the occasion Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan assured the members of Lok Sabha that the guidelines given by them would be followed. No stone will be left unturned in extending the public welfare schemes of the government to the eligible beneficiaries.
