V-Guard shows growth in Ludhiana, addresses dealers

Ludhiana, January 27,2014:V-Guard Industries Ltd, India’s leading consumer electrical and electronics company, today hosted a dealers meet for their product range ‘Pumps & Motor’’  in Ludhiana. The meet was organised as part of the company’s endeavour to strengthen its bond with their business partners and show appreciation for the efforts taken by them in serving the customers.
V-Guard started operations in Punjab 6 years back and since then there has been a steady growth of more than 70% in FY 2013-14 compared with FY 2012-13.  . With a robust network of almost more than 1100direct and indirect dealers in Punjab, V-Guard now plans to strengthen its presence in this region by increasing the network to 1500 to 1800 dealers. The company is planning to double its sales next FY from this new burgeoning market.
Speaking on the occasion, Samir Mishra, Regional Manager- Pumps & Motor , V-Guard Industries Ltd, said,“ Punjab has always been a crucial market for us in the North region, as it holds immense business potential, which isyet to be explored. Thus, it becomes more important for us to strengthen our position in the region and this dealer meet is a small step to achieve this objective. The meet is organised to emphasise our appreciation of their efforts as well as intimate them of our future plans for the region. We hope such meets will create a stronger connect with the brand, especially with the new dealers who just came on board”.

Last year, in July2013, V-Guard invested Rs.24 crore for capacity enhancements of their cablefactory in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. In the recently concluded quarter, V-Guard witnessed a net profit growth of 14%. The company presently has a strong network of 28branches, over 230 distributors, 2500 channel partners and 13,000 retailers across the country.
