USOL Sports Meet

Chandigarh, March 26, 2019: University School Of Open Learning, Panjab University, Chandigarh organised its Annual Sport Meet,here today in the University main sports ground. Prof.Karamjeet Singh, Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh declared the sports meet open. He stressed on the importance of sports in the life of a student.
Prof.Emanuel Nahar, DSW, Panjab University graced the occasion as guest of honour.
Maximum number of students participated in various activities like 50 m, 100 m, 400 m race and athletic events like long jump, short put, discuss throw etc. Apart from it, some fun games like tug of war, lemon race, pillow fighting were also part of the event.
Prof.Yojna Rawat, Chairperson, USOL, encouraged the students to participate in all the physical activities to keep themselves healthy and fit. She also appreciated the large participation by USOL students this year in the sports activities and emphasised that USOL will continue this tradition for the overall development of its students in the years to come.
