Dr Indu Pal Kaur, Professor and Chairperson, University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh was selected as one of the three women identified by the USPTO- India. In the words of Prof Kaur consistent persistence, continuously challenging herself beyond her comfort zone, and the desire to address issues of poor bio performance of and compliance to available drug molecules are her driving features.

She refashions existing molecules using novel drug delivery technology to address their solubility, bioavailability, stability by toxicity issues. Her dream is to translate these novel technologies to the Industry for patient use.

She demonstrates that grit, courage and belief in yourself can pave the way to success.
