Upcoming new School of Eminence Millerganj set for inauguration soon

Ludhiana, February 4, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Wednesday conducted a detailed inspection of the School of Eminence (SOE) Millerganj on Wednesday to review the final stages of the project.
Describing it as the finest school infrastructure developed under the Punjab Government, the Deputy Commissioner announced that the state-of-the-art facility is ready for its grand inauguration in the near future.
The School of Eminence Millerganj will accommodate 323 students from Classes 9 to 12 across 21 modern, well-designed rooms. The academic infrastructure includes 10 spacious classrooms, a dedicated staff room, and a principal’s office, seven specialized laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Construction, Apparel, and Robotics & Automation Technology – ROT), a well-stocked, modern library and etc.
DC Himanshu Jain instructed the PWD team to ensure premium tile finishing throughout the building and to install high-quality aluminum storage racks in all laboratories and classrooms to help students stay organized.
The Deputy Commissioner approved several sports and wellness facilities to promote all-round development including a terrace badminton court, An indoor table tennis area and a dedicated yoga and meditation space. He also sanctioned the creation of a new properly organized parking zone to improve campus traffic and management.
The School of Eminence Millerganj is expected to become a model for excellence in school infrastructure and holistic student development across the state.
