Upasana Singh turns producer with Dev Kharoud’s film ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’

Chandigarh: Upasana Singh, a name which needs no introduction, after entertaining people for more than three decades, turns into a producer for upcoming film ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ under Santosh Entertainment Studio.

Helmed by Smeep Kang, the film stars Dev Kharoud and Upasana Singh’s son Nanak in lead roles and Gurpreet Ghuggi and Upasana Singh in pivotal roles. Nanak has already debuted in films with Upasana Singh’s directorial debut ‘Yaaran Diya Po Baaran’. ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ is a family-comedy that will surely make the audience go gaga.

Director of the film, Smeep Kang, said, "The Punjabi film industry is flourishing, and we are happy that we are getting more and more people to back our films and having Upasana Singh on board is cherry on the cake. I am so excited about this new journey and hope that people will appreciate our efforts".

Upasana Singh, Producer, Santosh Entertainment Studio quoted, “After earning the love for my acting and comedy for all these years, I wanted to return it in some way. Bai Ji Kuttange is surely our first of many steps. We want to focus on making films that entertain and stay in the audience's hearts forever. We are sure we will achieve that with the cast and crew we have assembled.”

Actor Dev Kharoud commented, “As an actor, I always wanted to try all the genres. However, people have loved my actions more. I hope with ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’, I will be able to make people laugh and get them to forget their tensions and worries for some time.”

The shoot of the film ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ has already started on 15th December 2020.
