Kanpur, June 24 (HS): Following an altercation, a woman attempted to sever her husband's private parts and was charged. The event occurred in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. An early investigation found that the wife attempted to cut the husband's genitals as he slept. The victim was described as a cleaner who lived in Varun Vihar. He filed a complaint with the authorities, and a case was opened. The man said in his complaint that on the night of June 14, he and his wife had an altercation that escalated. Following that, the woman went out late at night and attempted to slash her husband's private parts. She, on the other hand, fled as her husband began to yell. According to the victim, he did not discuss the occurrence to anybody out of embarrassment, although he did decide to file a police report. ACP Abhishek Pandey stated that a case had been filed and that further action was being taken.
