Unwrapping Happiness at Ivy World School

Jalandhar, June 9, 2018: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of Vasal Educational Society ,organised a Summer Camp for classes kindergarten to grade 8 from 1st June,2018 till 9th June,2018 for Ivyians and interested students. Every Summer Camp has different stories and to make these summers a memorable one, a wide array of activities like art & craft, sculpture, carpentry, communication skills, personality development , dining etiquette, Sports –badminton, skating, swimming, aerobics, zumba and were organized dance by famous choreographer Mr.Uma Shanker Khilnani.

A summer Camp is all about growth and accomplishments.Engaging in these activities, children explored new things, and learnt what did not work. Apart from the fun-filled learning they imbibed the art of cooperation, some of them discovered their leadership qualities and some made new friends on this memorable journey of discovering themselves.

The Final Day Presentation was a culmination of the music, dance and enactment which the students had learnt during the camp.The students prepared dances in compact groups from kindergarten to grade 8 under the guidance of renowned choreographer Mr.Uma Shanker Khilnani and his team. The event also had a flavour of enactment by the students. The learning sessions culminated in a colourful exhibition and presentation.

This exhibition of hand work prepared by the camp participants displaying their creative prowess was put up in the auditorium foyer.The display created by the students were very artistic.

The Principal in her concluding address spoke about the benefits of enrolling students for such camps. She concluded, that they were actually making memories, though they thought that they were simply having fun. Students were encouraged and motivated for having worked sincerely and consistently, through a Certificate of Participation.
