Chandigarh: Prof Raj Kumar,Vice Chancellor, Panjab University expressed his deepest condolences at the untimely demise of a PU Fellow from Ludhiana and Former Vice Chairman, Punjab School Education Board, Professor Suresh Tandon on 24.08.2020. He said that Professor Tandon has contributed a lot for the growth of this university and has lost a noble human being. May the inspiration of his faith, optimism and perseverance will live on in our hearts and the traditions which he established shall be followed by the society for a life of sublime thinking and a life of empathy and sympathy.
He was recently nominated as PU Fellow for the present term of Senate which is upto 31st October, 2020 against the vacant seats due to resignation of a PU Fellow. A programme to par Shradhanjali is scheduled for 27th August from 1-2pm ay Nav Durga Mandir, Sarabha Nagar Ludhiana.
