United India International Cycle Expo 2014 generates Rs.500 crore business deals

Ludhiana, March 2, 2014: United India International Cycle Expo 2014 concluded here on Sunday. Punjab PWD Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony.
A total 200 exhibitor and 700 dealers participated in the event. More than 10,000 visitors visited in the event on the last day. About 500 crore business deals were done and orders of about 1200 crore were given.
In his address, the minister announced that the state government would provide a suitable land about 6-7 acre for holding such events.
Many exhibitors were honoured on this occasion. These include Hero Cycle, Hero Ecotech, Neelam Cycle, Avon Cycle, Shakti Coating, Suncross Cycle, Amarwheel, Hippo cycle, Big Ben were prominent, among them.
Many industrialist were also honoured. These include Avtar Singh (CICU), Avtar Singh Bhogal, Joga Singh, Inderjit Singh Nagpal, Rajinder Singh Sarhali, Rajesh Rana, Parveen Gupta, Jatinder Malhotra, G.S. Kahlon, B.K. Seth, G.L. Pahwa and Gurdeep Singh Gemco.
Parveen Bansal, President, BJP, Ludhiana District also visited the show.
