Union Bank of India celebrated Cyber Awareness Day

Chandigarh, December 19, 2022: To create awareness among internet users about cyber frauds and online crimes and to protect them from such incidents, a program was organized under the aegis of Union Bank of India’s Zonal Office at Hotel Shivalik View here today on the occasion of Cyber Awareness Day. Superintendent of Police (Cyber Crime) Ketan Bansal was present as the chief guest.

Ketan Bansal gave detailed information about the steps taken by the Police Department in this direction. He said that many cyber gangs have been exposed and action has been taken against them. He talked about taking necessary precautions, so that cyber criminals do not succeed in cheating and the hard-earned money of the general public remains safe.

The program was presided over Arun Kumar, Area General Manager, Union Bank of India. He said that several measures have been taken by the bank to prevent such cyber crimes.

Apart from the employees of Union Bank of India, many professionals and police officers also participated in the programme. Deputy Zonal Head of Union Bank of India Navneet Gupta, Chandigarh Region Head H K Das, Zonal Audit Chief Sanjeev Verma were also present in the programme.
