Ferozepur, March 18, 2013:  The mystery of unidentified decomposed dead body reported on March 12,  in village Mansoor Deva, near Ferozepur,  in dry well with tied hands and foot has been solved by the police.

Amarjit Singh, a resident of Mansoor Deva, had gone to his fields, he had a foul smell from the dry well and on seeing, one decomposed dead body of unidentified persons was found.  The police had registered a case under section 302 on account of finding of unidentified dead body and started locating the murderer.

Varinderpal Singh, SSP Ferzepur giving the details today said, the decomposed dead could not be identified on the spot at that time.  During the investigation, it has come on surface that today Sukhwinder Singh resident of Zira identified the dead body as his brother Pardeep Singh from his clothes and shoes.

He further said, Harjinder Singh alias Jinda of Mansoor Deva came to his house at 8.30 AM and took Pardeep Singh alongwith him to pay obeisance at Indergarh Jhiri on motorcycle.  On returning home, he informed that Pardeep Singh had been sent for some urgent work and will be back in 2-3 days. 

On March 18, Harjinder Singh alias Jinda was arrested by Jagdish Lal SHO Zira who disclosed that Amarjit Singh alias Bagga suspected of having illicit relations of Pardeep Singh with his sister and for taking revenge from Pardeep Singh, he took him alongwith and throw him in the well by tiding his hands and feet.

The other accused Amarjit Singh alias Bagga is already facing trial under Arms Act in case (No.29 and 30) of February 21, 2013 under sections 379 and 411  and in jail, whose production warrant are being sought for further investigation into the case.
