Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, programs of Ujjwal Bharat Ujjjan Bhavishya Power@2047 will be organised in each district of Punjab by Ministry of Power Govt. of India in association with Punjab Govt.

Ludhiana, July 14, 2022: Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, programs of Ujjwal Bharat Ujjjan Bhavishya Power@2047 will be organised in each district of Punjab by Ministry of Power Govt. of India in association with Punjab Govt. Regarding the said campaign, Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Surbhi Malik Chaired a meeting in her office and issued guidelines and necessary directions for successful organising the vents planned. Amit Kumar Panchal, ADC, Ludhiana, S.R.Vashisht Superintending Engineer, Surjit Singh Superintending Engineer, Daljit Singh Executive Engineer and Rajesh Kumar Executive Engineer participated in the meeting besides Ashutosh Bahuguna of SJVN on behalf of the Government of India.

Amit Kumar Panchal, ADC, Ludhiana informed the program will be organised at two places in Ludhiana district namely on 25th July at Guru Nanak Bhawan Ludhiana and on 28th July Shaheed Bhagat Singh Community Centre Raikot. He further informed during the programme the different schemes of Government of India and Punjab Government will be showcased through screening of the films.  Different beneficiary  of the schemes will also participate in the programme. Nukkad Natak and cultural programme will be organised to aware people about the energy conservation etc. The theme will also include the power scenario in the year 2047. On 31st July, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the country and will also talk to the beneficiaries through virtual medium

Ashutosh Bahuguna of SJVN informed SJVN a CPSU under Ministry of Power is nominated as Nodal Agency for implementation of the programmes in state of Punjab and stated that he himself is nominated as District Nodal officer of District Ludhiana to coordinate with District Administration and PSPCL. He thanked the District Administration and PSPCL officers for the cooperation extended to make the programme successful. He further stated that programme shall be organised as per the directions and guidelines of Government of India and Punjab Government.
