The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, will host the 55th Annual Conference of the Indian Pharmacological Society and International Pharmacology Conference (IPC-IPSCON 2025) from November 20 to 22.

Chandigarh, November 19, 2025: The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, will host the 55th Annual Conference of the Indian Pharmacological Society and International Pharmacology Conference (IPC-IPSCON 2025) from November 20 to 22.

About 2,000 delegates from India and abroad are expected to attend the three day International Conference, themed “Empowering Young Minds to Transform Pharmacology for Viksit Bharat,” focused on nurturing future leaders and innovators in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Distinguished Professor, Centre for the Advancement of Medicine, Canada Dr Naranjan S. Dhalla  will be the chief guest, while Director General Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) Dr. N. Zaheer Ahmed, will be the Guest of Honour.

As a prelude to the main event, the pre-conference workshop on "Emerging Tools and Technologies: Alternatives to Animal Testing" concluded today, aiming to provide young researchers with hands-on exposure, enhance skills, and foster innovation in emerging areas of drug discovery and development.

IPC-IPSCON 2025 will showcase an extensive scientific programme featuring a range of interactive sessions such as quiz competitions, oral and poster presentations, distinguished orations, open lectures on contemporary issues, authoritative plenaries, and widely anticipated symposia.

The conference will bring together eminent experts and speakers from around the world, representing diverse fields including the pharmaceutical industry, medical and pharmaceutical practice, intellectual property law, entrepreneurial ventures, regulatory affairs, and academic research. This year’s edition will host 240 national and 30 international resource persons from nearly 10 countries, with participants benefiting from direct engagement and exposure to varied lines of research. In total, 25 symposia will be held.

The conference will exhibit the pharmaceutical products, medicines and clinical services from commercial and non commercial organizations ensuring collaborations and showcasing their products and promoting business.
