UICET Hosts Golden Jubilee Alumni Reunion of the Batch of 1975

Chandigarh, December 12, 2025: Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (UICET), Panjab University, Chandigarh, hosted the Golden Jubilee Alumni Reunion of the Batch of 1975, bringing together distinguished alumni, faculty members, students and guests for a warm and nostalgic celebration.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Anupama Sharma, Chairperson, UICET, who highlighted the institute’s rich legacy and the contributions of its alumni community over the decades. Cultural performances were presented by the students.
The members of the 1975 batch signed an MoU with the institute to renovate classrooms with state-of-the-art facilities, contributing ₹30 lakh towards the initiative. Alumni also shared their professional journeys and encouraged students to pursue entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.
Distinguished alumni were honoured with mementos, followed by a commemorative group photograph to mark the milestone.
