UIAMS Organises Special Session on Personality Development for BBA- MBA Integrated Programme Students
At the start of the second semester, the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) organised an engaging orientation-cum-development programme for BBA and MBA students to help them build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.

Chandigarh, March 2, 2026: At the start of the second semester, the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) organised an engaging orientation-cum-development programme for BBA and MBA students to help them build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Director, UIAMS, who highlighted the institute’s commitment to holistic student development and industry-oriented education
A special session on Personality Development was delivered by Mr. Hitesh Gulati, Human Capital Transformation and Change Management Consultant, who guided students on self-awareness, professional conduct, and career readiness.
The students were introduced to a series of ice-breaking business games including Memory Chain, Speed Introductions, Logo Introduction, Two Truths and One Lie, and an interactive team activity where participants identified five common traits among team members. These activities aimed to foster collaboration and ease students into the new academic term. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training-cum-Placement Officer, UIAMS, who emphasised the importance of interpersonal skills alongside academic learning.
The students gave the feedback that the ice-breaking activities and personality development session were extremely engaging and helpful. The games made it easy for us to interact with classmates and build confidence. The session motivated us to work on our communication skills and professional attitude. It was an excellent start to the new semester and a memorable learning experience.
The entire programme was coordinated and conducted by the Training and Placement Cell of UIAMS, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for all students.
