UIAMS Organises Havan, Sunderkand Paath and Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath for Peace, Prosperity and Well-Being of the Institution

The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), South Campus, Panjab University, organised a deeply spiritual and uplifting series of sacred ceremonies today with the collective intent of invoking divine blessings for the growth, harmony and prosperity of the institute.

Chandigarh, 18 November 2025: The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), South Campus, Panjab University, organised a deeply spiritual and uplifting series of sacred ceremonies today with the collective intent of invoking divine blessings for the growth, harmony and prosperity of the institute.

The day commenced with a Havan performed in accordance with traditional Vedic rituals. The sacred fire, offerings and chants created an atmosphere of purity and positive energy across the UIAMS premises, symbolising the collective prayer for peace, wisdom and the well-being of students, faculty and staff.

Following this, the institute hosted the Sunderkand Paath. The recitation of the revered chapter from the Ramcharitmanas filled the environment with devotion, reaffirming values of courage, humility and righteousness. A Bhandara was organised thereafter, reflecting the spirit of community service and sharing.

In the afternoon session, the auspicious Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath was conducted invoking divine grace, mental peace and spiritual strength. The melodious Gurbani kirtan and serene recitation uplifted all attendees. The programme concluded with a Tea Langar, symbolising the Sikh principles of equality, seva and togetherness.
